Privacy Policy

1. Basic Policy

saison (the "Operator") establishes the following Privacy Policy (this "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in "Okerukana" (the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

The Service can be used without registering an account. The information collected and stored by the Service is as follows. For information relating to access analytics (Google Analytics), please see "4. Access Analytics and Cookies" below.

• Layout data (room dimensions, furniture placement, size, name, price notes, etc.): stored only in the localStorage of the user's own browser and never transmitted to the Operator's servers.
• Data contained in share URLs: when a share URL is created, the layout data is compressed and stored in the URL's hash fragment (the part after "#"). Because of how browsers handle hash fragments, this data is never transmitted to or recorded on a server.

The Service does not provide any fields for entering personal information such as name, email address, or physical address.

3. About the Sharing Feature

A URL issued through the Service's share URL feature can be accessed, and the shared layout viewed, by anyone who knows that URL. Share URLs may include information such as the names, sizes, positions, and price data of the furniture entered.

While the Service has no fields for entering a name or contact information, if a user enters information that could identify an individual into a free-text field such as a furniture name or memo, that content may become viewable by third parties through the share URL. Please be careful not to enter personal information when issuing a share URL.

4. Access Analytics and Cookies

The Service uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Service is used. GA4 collects information about page views and the user's environment using cookies and similar technologies, but this information does not directly identify individuals. If you do not wish to allow the use of cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings. For details on how GA4 collects and uses data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Provision to Third Parties

Except where required by law, the Operator does not provide user information to third parties. Because the Service does not store users' layout data on its servers, the Operator does not hold any such information to provide in the first place.

6. External Services

The Service may use external services such as Google Fonts to display fonts on screen. As a result, information about the user's environment (such as IP address) may be sent to the provider of that service. For details, please refer to the privacy policy of each service provider.

7. Changes to This Policy

The Operator may change the content of this Policy as necessary. Any changes take effect from the time the revised content is posted on this page. Where a material change is made, the Operator will make reasonable efforts to notify users, such as by posting a notice within the Service.
